Sri Lankan skipper Kumar Sangakkara elected to bat in their first Super Eights game against Pakistan on Friday.

Nuwan Kulasekera replaced Udana for Sri Lanka. But there was no place for Abdul Razzaq in the Pakistan line-up.

Sri Lanka defeated both Australia and West Indies in the group of death in the first round.
