It was Taapsee Pannu's wish to become a journalist. Though she's unable to fulfil it in the real life, she is doing one in front of the camera.
The 'Aadukalam' girl is playing a television journalist in Ajith's next venture, which is being directed by Vishnuvardhan. "I am thankful to the director for roping me in for the role," she says.
Taapsee adds, "Journalism is something which always attracted me a lot. I did enough homework for the role by observing many women TV journalists. Shooting for the movie is a great experience."

Besides this yet to be titled film, Tapsee is also part of 'Marandhen Mannithen'. Simultaneously being made in Telugu as 'Gundello Godhari', the movie's basic knot is said to be floods in the 1980s, which changed the lives of many.
