New Delhi: The Taj Mahal may have made it to the Top 10 Wonders of the World but it is long way before it makes to the list of the Top Seven Wonders of the World.

And with less than a month to go for the final list, voting for the Taj is India's only hope to be proud of having one of the seven wonders in India.

A student, Vipul Malhotra knows that because he has voted for it for umpteen times.

Says a student, Vidhi Jain, “Every one should vote as it is India’s Wonder.”

And these two represent any Indians who are scrambling to see the Taj in the Final Seven.

Voting online and over SMS has picked up from a petty 0.7 per cent to 4.5 per cent. But that still is not enough as marketing executive, Subhashree Basu says, “I voted for the Taj and I think that every Indian who has access to the voting procedure should definitely vote for it.”

“I request everyone to vote for the Taj,” adds architect, Ipsanah Rashid Khan.

Out of the 50 million votes cast so far for the new seven wonders, the Taj Mahal has only found less than four lakh SMS votes for itself.

If Shahjehan's monument of love has to make it to the final seven, the numbers will have to go up. July 7 deadline is around the corner and people need to vote.
