New Delhi: The compounder of Dr Rajesh Talwar, who is under arrest for the murders of his daughter Arushi and domestic help, is emerging as the main suspect and will be arrested soon, sources in the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) have told CNN-IBN.

The CBI put Krishna under two days of lie-detector tests and claims to have found clues against him from the room of Hemraj, the murdered domestic help.

As many as five CBI teams late on Monday night took Krishna to the Talwar residence in Jal Vayu Vihar of Noida’s Sector 25 and scanned the house with a forensic team.

CBI officials told CNN-IBN they couldn’t rule out one more “insider” arrest in the case.

Meanwhile, Rajesh Talwar's brother Naresh Talwar told CNN-IBN he was counting on the CBI investigation. "I have full faith in the CBI, let them do their work," he said.

Arushi, 14, was found murdered in her Noida home on May 16. The Noida police blamed Hemraj for the murder, but were red-faced after his body was found a day later on the terrace of the Talwars’ house.

The police arrested Dr Talwar on May 23 and allege he killed his daughter in anger as he objected to her being close to Hemraj. The CBI took over the case after the Noida police drew flak for shoddy investigations.

The CBI has a registered a case against “unknown persons” in the murder and its director Vijay Shanker has promised a "breakthrough is going to come soon."

The bail plea of Dr Talwar, who is in judicial custody, will come up for hearing Tuesday before a Ghaziabad court.

The CBI on Monday requested newspapers and news agencies to give it photographs of the crime scene. "It is requested that photographs relating to the scene of crime relating to the first two days coverage till the discovery of Hemraj’s body taken by your photographers may be provided urgently to us," an official communique from the CBI to photo editors said.

This would help the investigating agency "immensely" in the probe of the case, it said.
