Chennai: Popular Tamil actress Trisha celebrated her birthday on Friday, and she decided to make the day special by taking time out for a good cause.
The 24-year-old actress, who was spotted opposite Andhra superstar Chiranjeevi in Stalin last year, celebrated her birthday by visiting cancer afflicted people in Chennai.
“It feels really nice because usually for birthdays you're with family and friends but this time it's been different. It’s very satisfying to do such things,” Trisha said.
One of the top actresses in the Tamil film industry, Trisha stakes claim to the first woman's fan club. And her birthday saw her launch the Trisha Foundation, which also has a connection to her fan club.
“It's a foundation started by my fan club head Jassi. We just do different things like helping out children and starting new projects like where you have more people coming in to help us. Everything is taken care of by them and I just help them whenever I'm in town and I guess if I probably tell someone, they'll listen to me and come forward, that's what we want,” Trisha said.
Though, younger faces in the industry may have grabbed bigger films like Sivaji and Dasavatharam, Trisha still has some projects to look forward to.
“There are two of my projects coming out, one is Kireedom with Ajith and Bheema with Vikram. We've some patch work left for Bheema, it'll come out soon,” Trisha said.
