First it was expected that Bala's 'Paradesi' would hit the screens by the third week of December. Now it is said the film will see the light of the day by January.
Meanwhile, the latest buzz is that a leading production house has evinced interest to acquire the distribution rights of the movie.
"Talks are currently on with Bala and a final agreement will be reached soon," say sources, adding: "A release date will also be finalised then."
Produced and directed by Bala, the film has Atharva, Vedhika and Dhanshika in lead roles. It is about tea estate workers who suffered a lot in pre-independence era.
