Dhanush's 'Mariyaan' seems to be following the no hype policy, makers are quietly filming it without any buzz and haven't even unveiled the first look posters. The latest is that the film's last schedule has gone on floors in Bhuj (Gujarat) after which the film will be entirely wrapped and post-production work will take place in a full swing.

'Mariyaan' is directed by popular ad filmmaker Bharat Bala has music by AR Rahman and all the songs have been canned. It is said to be Dhanush's personal request to the team to remain tight-lipped about this venture and maintain a low profile. Most of the film was canned in Africa's scenic locales.

Dhanush is simultaneously working on 'Mariyaan', 'Sottavazhakutty' with 'Sargunam' and 'Raanjhnaa' with Aanand L Rai.
