Viewers have become very sensitive to offense after the issue with Kamal Hassan's 'Vishwaroopam'. The week long row over the film was followed by Surya's 'Singam 2' and Jayam Ravi's 'Aadhi Bhagavan'.

The latest addition to this list of offenders is Maniratnam's film 'Kadal'. Seems like this movie offended the Christian fisherman. A religious group, headed by a Priest filed a complaint against this movie saying it should be banned due to it being 'anti - christian'.

Maniratnam has not responded to this request to ban yet.
