Chennai: After Finance Minister P Chidambaram's son Karti Chidambaram, another similar case of online bullying had panned out in October. Southern singer Chinmayi complained against six Twitter users who had posted derogatory messages against her.
Based on her complaint, the Chennai police arrested two people. A case was registered under the IT act and Prevention of Harassment of Women's act.
An associate professor at the National Institute of Fashion Technology, Chennai and a government official working in the Tirupur Collectorate were those arrested.
