Tamil siren arrested for forging travel paper

Chennai: Once a sizzling siren on screen in Telugu and Tamil films, actress Flora Saini has today fallen from the tinsel town into the police den.

She is in trouble for submitting forged documents for a US visa.

The embassy officials detected a fraud in the papers submitted by Flora for another woman, who Flora had claimed was her make-up artist.

Hyderabad Police Commissioner, B Prasada Rao says, "The Chennai Police have not contacted us about this issue. Since arrests have been made, they will definitely refer the matter to us and we will investigate the issue."

Consulate officials say that over the last few months they have detected nearly 200 people with forged documents from the South Indian film Industry and that's a big cause for worry.

Officials are refusing to divulge any further information and are instead saying that they will reveal all in a press conference on Thursday.
