Pipping Sravanti Ravi Kishore in a landslide victory, veteran industry well-wisher Tammareddy Bharadhwaja was elected as the President of the Andhra Pradesh Film Chamber of Commerce for 2012-13. This election definitely comes as a big boost to the cause of small producers, who have been at the receiving end of the oligarchic forces in the industry.
His candidature was apparently backed by Dasari Narayana Rao. It should be said that both these stalwarts have been vehement champions of the cause of the film industry, as against the well-being and profiteering of the few. Tammareddy enjoys overwhelming support of the film workers.
His election was hailed by T Prasanna Kumar and Natti Kumar. The newly-elected President has the agenda to end the monopoly on theatres and to bring changes in the rent system.

Pipping Sravanti Ravi Kishore in a landslide victory, Tammareddy Bharadhwaja was elected as the president of APFCC.
Eleven of his 12 candidates defeated their rivals comfortably. Natti Kumar and C Bharat Chowdhary have been elected as the Chairmen of APFCC's Producers Distributors' Sectors.
