New Delhi: The small screen is all about romance and laughter. While most of the entertainment channels are taking care of emotional dramas and romantic comedies, SAB TV primarily focuses on pure and healthy comedies.
'Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chasmah' is one of the most popular comedy shows of SAB TV. Inspired from the famous humorous column 'Duniya Ne Undha Chasma', the show is set up in a housing society called 'Gokuldham'. Based on the writings of famous Gujarati writer Tarak Mehta, the story features Sailesh Lodha as Tarak Mehta while the renowned TV actor Dileep Joshi plays his neighbour Jethalaal.
Daya Ben (Disha Wakani) is Jethalaal's wife who has the habit of falling into problems every time she opens her mouth.
The highlight of the serial is the simplicity with which it delivers the message to the audiences. Those who relished the presentation style of 'Humlog' can find the show interesting as it follows the same format where the character of Tarak Mehta appears in the end of the programme to convey the crux and the moral of the episode.
