SALEM: The body of a man who was working in a TASMAC outlet was found under a bridge near Nethimedu Kodalai Kadu on Monday. He was later identified as Arumugam (50), a resident of K P Karadu Nethaji Nagar and native of RamanathaÂpuram district.
Sources said, he joined work at a TASMAC shop in Nethimedu only six months ago. On Sunday, his neighbours reportedly saw him go out of his house at 10.30 pm. The following morning, his body was found in a channel under the bridge.
The Annaathanapatti police, who filed a case, suspect it to be a case of murder. Arumugam is survived by his son, who is working in Dubai, while his wife had passed away some time ago.
