Mumbai: Tata Docomo, the unified telecom brand of Tata Teleservices, announced a tariff plan at Rs 899 for its postpaid customers with unlimited calls both on the local and national network.
"For a fixed monthly rental of Rs 899, a customer can avail of unlimited number of local and national calls on any mobile or fixed-line network across the country. This is for the first time any operator is offering such a benefit," Tata Docomo said in a statement.
The statement did not specify whether any conditions were attached to the new tariff plan.
Tata Docomo Marketing Head Gurinder Singh Sandhu commenting on this new offering said, "we recognise that there is a latent need to simplify voice tariffs. This unlimited plan without any network restrictions offers simplicity and peace of mind to customers. This plan is yet another industry
first and reiterates our efforts for providing great value for
money for our customers."
Tata Teleservices is present in all the 22 telecom circles, and its offers GSM and CDMA services apart from 3G services under the unified brand name of Tata Docomo.
