Bangalore: Claiming that the Lokpal bill it introduced in Parliament was the "best", Government on Saturday said there is no justification for Team Anna's indefinite fast from July 25 unless there is a "political" motive.
"Unless he (Anna Hazare) has political motive, he has absolutely no justification going for any more agitation," Corporate Affairs Minister M Veerappa Moily said.
Moily, a former Union Law Minister, said: "Anna Hazare should realise that the bill we have brought about in Parliament and which is referred back to the Standing Committee for the second time, is the best bill".

Anna should realise that the bill brought about in Parliament is the best bill, Veerappa Moily said.
He said the Government has far exceeded the aspiration expressed in the first original bill presented to the joint committee (Team Anna and Government).
"If he (Hazare) can revisit himself, without any good advisors (key Team Anna members) around him, he can very well understand that it has far exceeded the limits of his own aspirations," the former Karnataka Chief Minister said.
