Mumbai: Indian cricket selectors are meeting Thursday afternoon in Mumbai to pick up the team for the forthcoming tour of Sri Lanka.
The squad for the Tri-nation series is not expected to have many changes from the one that toured the Caribbean.
This would be the committee's first meeting after India's tour of the West Indies.
Sachin Tendulkar of course would be a sure shot selection for the tri series after he was declared fit.
There has been speculation in certain media circles that Dinesh Mongia might find his way back into the team after his good stint in the English county season.
A couple of fringe players from the India A team might also find place in the team.
Speculation of changes in the team mounted after higher-rated India lost the One-day series to underdogs West Indies 4-1 in June.
South Africa will be the third team featuring in the tri series that begins from August 14.
