THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: TechVantage Systems Private Limited [TechVantage], a global IT solutions company located in Technopark, has expanded its operations to a new office at Thejaswini building. The new office was inaugurated by G Vijayaraghavan, founder CEO of Technopark and Member, State Planning Board.
TechVantage specialises in providing IT solutions in niche areas like software development for the Smart Grid, building e-commerce and social networking sites and creating software for Compliance Management across industries. By using sophisticated software along with the Smart Grid, energy and utility companies will be able to generate and distribute energy more efficiently in future. TechVantage also has services in cloud and mobile computing.
In his address, Vijayaraghavan said he is happy to see people who have worked in large IT establishments starting out on their own. He added that small and medium-sized IT companies should now focus on niche areas where the competition is less and margins are high.
While TechVantage mostly works with US and European markets at present, there are plans to expand to other geographics and verticals in 2012.
