New Delhi: The agitation over the issue of Telangana has led to the cancellation or diversion of several trains in the Southern Railway.
The railway has cancelled as many as eight trains and diverted 22 others because of the agitation.
The trains that have been affected pass through Andhra Pradesh.
Most of the affected trains have been diverted to the Konkan route.
Some of the trains hit by the agitation are Thiruvananthapuram Central-New Delhi Kerala express, Nizamuddin-Thiruvananthapuram express, Gorakhpur-Thiruvananthapuram express, Ernakulam Jn-Nizamuddin millennium express and Hyderabad-Thiruvananthapuram Sabari express.
