VJ-turned-actress Rhea had no idea about MS Raju. Owing to this lack of knowledge about the ace producer of Tollywood, she not only failed to latch on to the golden opportunity of being a female lead of his film, but even avoided his calls. When she was told by a Telugu friend that she could not afford to ignore a biggie like MS, she reached him and apologised. Soon, she gave an audition for a role in 'Tuneega Tuneega'. Good that she was selected by MS, who went on to cast her opposite his son, Sumanth Ashwin.
Rhea is now very comfortable with Telugu. After all, she has shot for two years for her very valuable debut. She has her eyes firmly set on Bollywood, but she is into more and more Telugu films, and even to doing item songs, provided the number is "catchy."
You can expect this 20-year-old, cute-looking VJ to rollick on the screen in MS Raju's film, which is a musical love story. She is ready to dub for herself in future, for she has good knowledge of Telugu now.
We do not as yet know what MS liked about her so much so that he pursued her even though she avoided his calls, in the beginning. Let's wait and watch to know if we are in for another Genelia D' Souza.
