'Eega' is one of the 18 films that will be watched by a 16-member jury commissioned by the Film Federation of India, which will decide the one nomination to be sent to the covetous Oscar awards.
Competing with Eega are a film each from Kollywood, Mollywood and other regional industries. From Bollywood, there a bevy of films like 'Kahaani', 'Barffi', 'Heroine' and 'Gangs Of Wasseypur'.
Suresh Babu paid the mandatory entry fee of Rs 50,000 to win the entry.

\'Eega\' is one of the films that will be watched by FFI, which will decide the name to be sent to the Oscar awards.
The films will be screened under the aegis of the SIFCC in Hyderabad from September 18 to September 26.
