Sonia Agarwal of '7/G Brindavan Colony' fame is making a comeback with a Tamil-Telugu bilingual. Directed by Raj Krishna, this film sees her in the role of a film heroine. Shoba Rani of SVR Media is producing the film in Telugu.
She says that the film shows how a heroine's life is not a bed of roses but one of thorns. "The film explores the travails and tribulations of wannabe actresses in the glamour field. The story is very sensitive. That's why a lot of care had to be taken in translating it on the celluloid. Many scenes in the film will touch your hearts. Just like 'The Dirty Picture', we are sure that 'Katha Nayaki' too will be a bit hit."
The likes, dislikes and orientations of a typical heroine form part of the script. A new dimension is sought to be explored in this film by director Raj Krishna. Nikhol, Sadan, Jyothi Lakshmi, Vimala Sri and others form the remainder star cast.

\"The film explores the travails and tribulations of wannabe actresses in the glamour field.\" Sonia stated.
