Telugu filmmaker Gunasekhar is known for using colossal sets in his movies will begin shooting for the film from 9, April 2013 for his upcoming period-drama 'Rudrama Devi'.
The first historical stereoscopic 3D movie, 'Rudramadevi' starring Anushaka in the role of princess Rudrama Devi, a prominent ruler of the Kakatiya dynasty.
The film will be launched on February 14, 2013 at the Thousand pillars temple in Warangal.
'Maestro' Ilayaraja, has composed the music for the film.
The art direction is done by 'Padma sri' Thota tharani, Cinematography is done by Ajay Vincent, Fights are chreographed by Ram-Laxman, VFX Supervisor Kamal Kannan(Prasad VFX), Neetha Lallu is the costumes designer. The Story and the Screenplay is done by GunaSekhar, he has also produced and directed the film.
