New Delhi: India's win in the CB Series against world champions Australia become more sweet after the latest ICC ranking for the One-Day International batsmen put Sachin Tendulkar as the No. 1 batsman in the world.
Tendulkar replaced Australian skipper Ricky Ponting at the top of the rankings. Indian One-Day skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni is at the 10th rank.
However, the Australian batsmen still dominate the batsmen ranking with four players in the top 10.
While Ponting is No. 2, opening batsman Matthew Hayden is fifth, retired wicketkeeper/batsman Adam Gilchrist is sixth and Michael Hussey is at the seventh spot.
