'Tendulkar should judge if he is fit'

Press Trust Of India

Mumbai: The Chairman of the selection committee of the Board of Control for Cricket in India, Kiran More, has said it was premature to say whether Sachin Tendulkar would be available for the four-Test series against the West Indies or not.

More said it was for team physio John Gloster and Tendulkar to judge the fitness of the star batsman.

More added that Sachin had already started light workouts and that his cricketing ability is not being doubted.

And he will be given the opportunity to give his fitness test.

More is expecting a report on Tendulkar's fitness by May 20 or 21, which is before the team for the test matches is chosen.
