Bangalore: After brushing off a tough challenge in her first match at the Sony Ericsson WTA tournament in Bangalore, Sania Mirza was back on court on Wednesday morning.

But this time it wasn't to take on another opponent player. Instead, Sania handed out valuable tips to some wide-eyed kids.

Imparting knowledge, they say, is the best way of increasing it. And that is exactly what Sania Mirza did at the Sony Ericsson WTA tour in Bangalore.

While some serves were in, there were many misses. That was the scene at the Karnataka Lawn Tennis Association as ace tennis players taught kids the ABC of the game. And here is what the kids learnt.

Sachin, a tennis enthusiast said: "They taught us something like the Banana trick and how to coordinate our footwork."

"Back hand and front hand," Sowmya claimed to have learnt.

But learning is a two-way process. You teach, "Love tennis, love the ball. Keeping hitting the ball and enjoy yourself," Galena, one of the players taking part, says.

And you learn, "Yes, from them we learn the dedication that they have. They have been here from early in the morning," Indian sensation Sania Mirza says.

After that training session, it was time for the autographs, the pictures and Sania's fan club to swell.
