New Delhi: At the box office, 'Teri Meri Kahaani' is not performing as per the expectations of its makers. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweets, "Teri Meri Kahaani has not found takers. Did not take off on Day 1 itself and showed no visible growth in business, which is disappointing."
He further writes on the micro blogging site, "Teri Meri Kahaani collected approx Rs 16.75 cr + nett in its opening weekend. Breakup:- Fri 5.25 cr, Sat 5.50 cr, Sun 6 cr +."
The Shahid, Priyanka starrer was released along with Anurag Kashyap's 'Gangs of Wasseypur'. While 'Gangs of Wasseypur' opened with rave reviews, 'Teri Meri Kahaani' got average reviews from the critics as well as the common movie enthusiasts.
'Teri Meri Kahaani' is about two people who meet in three different eras. The film is directed by Kunal Kohli, who has earlier directed films such as 'Mujhse Dosti Karoge', 'Hum Tum', 'Fanaa' and 'Thoda Pyar Thoda Magic'.
