Kabul: A major terror attack has been foiled in Kabul a week after the coordinated strikes in Afghanistan. Three Pakistanis and two Afghans have reportedly been detained with 10000 kg of explosives in Kabul.
The explosive was being carried in a truck, which was seized by the authorities.
According to reports, the explosives belong to the Haqqani network and the terrorists planned to assassinate Afghanistan Vice President Mohammad Khalil.
Last week, as many as 51 people had died in a wave of coordinated attacks by insurgents in Kabul and three other provinces.
