This year's list of Time 100 most influential people is an eclectic mix of entertainers, journalists, scientists, politicians and world leaders. The list also includes Queen Elizabeth II, presidential hopefuls senators Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama, YouTube founders Steve Chen and Chad Hurley and model Kate Moss. However, US President George W Bush doesn't figure in the list.
The list of 100 most influential, which hit newsstands on Friday, also includes 71 men and 29 women from 27 countries.
Hollywood heartthrob Leonardo DiCaprio and envelope-pushers Rosie O’Donnell and Sacha Baron Cohen are among the entertainment newsmakers, so are director Martin Scorsese and singer/actor Justin Timberlake.
Other entertainers also making the list are Oprah Winfrey, George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Cate Blanchett, America Ferrera, Michael J. Fox, California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger and “American Idol” creator Simon Fuller.
