New Delhi: After another round of arrests of terror suspects in Rajasthan it was revealed that yet again it was a new lot of highly educated and qualified people.
One of them is a graduate from the country's top medical institute, AIIMS. Two others are from another top medical institute of Rajasthan.
These latest arrests have changed the profile of terrorists and has even got the intelligence agencies worried. However, at the moment they say they are focusing on getting the maximum leads out of all the arrested.
Rajasthan Home Minister Gulab Chand Katariya said, “After Gujarat, various leads are coming out. We are confident of cracking many more cases."
Another face of SIMI that the police is looking for is a man who is studying Ayurveda at Indore. He is the one who allegedly stole the cars in the Mumbai blasts.
The police is also looking for Tauqir, a Mumbaikar who was a former direct sales associate of WIPRO. He is suspected of hacking the computer from which the e-mail in the name of Indian Mujahideen was sent.
“That man is undoubtedly the technical brain behind the blasts,” a Mumbai police official revealed.
But it’s the transcript of SIMI chief Safdar Nagori's narco-analysis test that makes for some chilling reading. Not only was SIMI planning attacks on top politicians like LK Advani but is also looking for a commander to head SIMI much like Taliban leader Mullah Umar.
