The action-thriller stars Shiney Ahuja and Esha Deol has been directed by Kunal Shivdasani, with music by Justin Uday, but what about all those rumours that Esha was miffed with Shiney after he gave her some unwanted acting advice?
"We didn't get along, we hate each other! Is that what people want me to say? It's really immature for people to think like that. There was no problem at all between the two of us. He did his own thing, I did my own thing and both of us have supported each other throughout the film. And this statement is going to clar it because he is a brilliant actor and I am really looking forward to doing more films opposite Shiney in the future," says Esha.
You could put it down to all those rumour mills, or going by the smiles on stage, they could be just good actors, but two seemed to get along well. And Shiney even managed to smile a lot while talking about his role.
"Ihad to hang from under a chopper for about seven days in a place 150 kms from Dubai. I don't know how I did it, but I guess one does it in the adrenaline rush. It was required and I just stopped thinking and just started doing it," says he.
Hijack has Shiney playing an aircraft maintenance engineer who foils a hijack attempt. Any resemblance to a Hollywood film is, as they say, purely coincidental.
