Koda was a minister in the Arjun Munda cabinet before a spat on the floor of the House with another minster, led to the fallout.
And behind all the mayhem was a bumpy stretch of road.
Koda was unhappy over the neglect of an important road in his constituency.

The road in Madhu Koda's constituency was the bone of contention between Koda and the No 2 in Munda cabinet - Sudesh Mahto.
The differences between the two made headlines and Koda was left in a lurch, all alone to wage his war in the contractor-politician battle in the state. Koda maintains that the issue of roads is an important one.
"The issue should not be linked to me or my constituency. The road gives maximum revenue to the state government. TATA and SAIL use this road for transportation, so it should be seen holistically," says Koda.

The road Hat-Gamarhia-Nowamundi is surely a picture of neglect. Negotiating the road is any driver's nightmare. Most of the vehicles plying through this stretch do it at their own risk. If lucky, they manage to cross, if not they get stranded.
And villagers are angry. Says one villager, "The road is in a terrible state. Vehicles get stalled often and sometimes travellers get stranded on the road."
The neglected road has proved to be the road to disaster for the Arjun Munda government and this has made history of sorts in Jharkhand.
