The two industry veterans have come together to form a new company and guess what they're calling it?
“We thought of lot of intellectual names, we thought lot of corporate names then one day I thought that we are basically, the best thing about us is that we are very basic. And there is no place more basic than Karolbagh in the country and Satish is from that place. So why don’t we call it Karolbagh Film Entertainment Company,” said Kher.
The good news is Karolbagh Films and Entertainment Private Limited has joined hands with UTV Motion Pictures to produce four films a year, one each to be directed by both Kher and Kaushik and other two by new talents.
With UTV in the picture, the filmmakers don’t have to worry about the marketing and distribution at all.
“It is a great relief because you just concentrate on the creative side. You know that there is somebody to look after you, how to bring out the product and make it reach out to people either here in India or the international market. So, it’s a great relief for creative people and creative company,” said Kaushik.
So get ready for some entertainment with a Karolbagh flavour!
