This is the best series I have played: Sachin

New Delhi: A jubilant Sachin Tendulkar spoke exclusively to CNN-IBN about the victory against Australia, the off-field fracas and the on-field performance.

On winning the series:

It was fantastic, though it was quite hectic. It was absolutely fabulous and a very good performance by the entire team. I'd like to congratulate them.

On incidents on & off the field:

Plenty of things happened off the field. We were extremely determined to keep our focuses on field. And I'm glad we ended on a high note with a victory.

On his performance Down Under:

I just go out and do my best and I'm very pleased to have been able to perform against Australia. The last two finals were very important and I was able to score some good runs in both the games, so I am thrilled about it. Considering that we were playing in Australia - the One-Day series we ended up winning and we challenged them on various occasions in the Test series, is a great feeling.

Is it the best series win ever?

I would definitely say that this is the best series I have played. This series ranks right on top, other than the Word Cup. What eventually matters is winning with whatever side you play with and I have been fortunate enough to be a part of the Indian team since 1989. It's been a treat to play with India since then.
