Three injured in a shoot out in East Delhi

New Delhi: Three people were seriously injured in a drive by shooting in East Delhi's Shahadra area on Monday night.

Two armed men on a motorcycle allegedly opened fire outside a house.

According to the police more than 15 rounds were fired for close to 10 minutes. The injured have been identified as Hashim, Intezar and Abid.

The police suspect the incident is linked to the murder of Salim Pehelwan back in April. Members of his group had vowed to avenge his death.
