Social networking has its own share of controversy. One such latest buzz is about AR Murugadoss, and it is being alleged that the director implicitly slammed 'Maattrraan' team in one of his tweets.

Reacting to this, the 'Ghajini' maker, whose 'Thuppakki' will hit the screens soon, says, "The tweet in question ('Paappa thalli poi vilayadu') was my reaction to a person who was badmouthing me on Twitter."

"How can I hurt people like KV Anand and Suriya. Anand is very senior to me and I have a lot of respect for him. And Suriya is one of my good friends," says Murugadoss.
