Tiger Woods wins BMW Championship

New Delhi: Tiger Woods won the BMW Championship by eight-shots on Monday to capture his sixth title of the season.

Woods began the day with a seven-shot lead over American Brandt Snedker and Australian Marc Leishman.

He finally finished with a score of three-under 68 to celebrate victory for a fifth time at Cog Hill with a winning total of 19-under 265.

It was Woods's 71st PGA Tour title.

He is now just two short of tying Jack Nicklaus for second on the all-time list.

American Jim Furyk carded a score of five-under 66 to finish second at 11-under 273 alongside PGA Tour rookie Leishman.
