New Delhi: You have heard of Priyanka Gandhi the politician but have you ever heard of Priyanka Gandhi as a writer and photographer? Well she has authored a book expressing her love for wildlife and the tiger.

"I first came here as a 13-year-old. Driving around the jungle with my parents in much the same way my children do with me, I was enchanted by it. I think it was my father's love for nature that spirited itself into my being." Priyanka said.

Those are the words of Priyanka Gandhi and it's her love for wildlife that's captured in the latest coffee table book the 'Tigers Realm'.

The book captures Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, Anjali and Jaisal Singh's personal journey into the land of the tiger.

It's clear from her memoir that she has inherited her love for the tigers from her father Rajiv Gandhi and her late grandmother Indira Gandhi whose name is written in gold for bringing Project Tiger to life back in the 1970s and 80s.

This omnibus on the tiger, captures rare moments in the wild, actually showing how little is known about the magical world of the big cat.

Jaisal Singh the co-author of the book explains what goes into capturing that one special moment in the wild for posterity. "Through this book, Priyanka is busy instilling the legacy of the late PM Indira Gandhi into the minds of her children."

She writes, "Can't say I enjoy anything more than being confined to a jeep with them in the park. We're surrounded by the wilderness I love and there's absolutely no possibility of them escaping their mother's mad affections."

The 'Tigers Realm' is more than just a personal journey; it displays India's most breathtaking biodiversity in a series of captivating images.
