Chennai: A look out notice has been issued for Durai Dayanidhi, the son of DMK MP Alagiri. According to Tamil Nadu police sources, Durai is wanted for questioning in an illegal granite mining case.
Sources further said that the Tamil Nadu police have also asked the immigration department to stop Durai, who was a director in Olympus Granite till 2010, from leaving the country.
A total of 17 FIRs have been filed against eight companies, including Olympus, in connection with the scam.
As many as 60 people have been named in the FIRs including Durai Dayanidhi.
The anticipatory bill of Alagiri's son is slated to heard on September 4.
