KOCHI: The state government on Monday decided to impose a state-wide trawling ban from June 15 to July 31. The decision was taken at a high-level meeting convened at Thiruvananthapuram. The district collectors will hold meetings with the fishermen communities. The boats from other states will have to leave the Kerala coast before the trawling ban comes into effect.
