New Delhi: There is some relief in sight for 690 Indian students - victims of the Tri Valley University. They can now apply for reinstatement of their visas making them eligible for other universities.
The students have applied for reinstatement of their visas which will happen in about two weeks time. The students will now be eligible to apply in other US universities.
The US government has been sensitised to the Indian view that Tri-Valley was a registered university and therefore legitimate and that the Indian students are not at fault.
Radio collars on most of the students have been removed, only six students are required to wear them now against the 12 sometime ago.
