The story of Anu Vaidyanathan is not the kind you see everyday. Anu excels in three disciplines of sports and juggles it with her zeal to work as a CEO of a consultancy firm.

This woman triathlete, at 29, is strong in all faculties.

She is mentally tough and has a passion for clearing obstacles. That is what helps her run, swim and cycle; all in the same day at the arduous Ironman series.

Competing in the event is not easy, Anu admits. One needs to first swim for 3.8 kilometres, then bike for 180 kilometres and finally run for 42.2 kilometres.

Armed with a sponsorship deal with Timex, she hardly needs any inspiration now. As what started as a passion for her four years ago has now become her only love in life.

Anu is keen to win the first Ironman title. Clearly, judging by the way she continues to overcome challenges, Anu Vaidyanathan may well be on her way to living the dream.
