Trickle turns into flow: fourth director quits Satyam

Reuters

Bangalore: A fourth independent director of Satyam Computer Services has resigned, the company said on Monday.

The country’s No. 4 software services exporter said in a statement Mendu Rammohan Rao has resigned from the company board but gave no reason.

Earlier on Monday, Satyam announced the resignation of two other independent directors, Krishna Palepu and Vinod Dham, from the board, effective Sunday. This followed the resignation of director Mangalam Srinivasan last week in the wake of a botched attempt by the company to buy construction firms in which management held stakes.
