Tamil actress Trisha Krishnan is associated with (People for ethical treatment of animals)PETA. She is participates in most activities organised by the organisation.
She was also invited as chief guest of the Blue Cross dog show in Chennai.
Trisha says she is pure vegetarian and is of a strong opinion that we must come together to fight against the atrocities caused to animals.

Recently she tweeted an idea that sounds like it should definitely be taken up by the authorities. Trisha tweeted, "Why do tests on animals when v have pedophiles n rapists in prison !?!?!" A sound plan indeed. We have to applaud this top heroine for such a thought.
Torturing poor little lab rats does seem pointless when actual torture deservers rest in prison.
Trisha is currently shooting for her film,'Rum' in Dubai.
