New Delhi: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mayawati's ministers are giving her enough reason to worry.

After the Banda MLA accused of rape, another minister has been accused of murder and abduction. Family members of the victims blocked her convoy in Aligarh demanding action.

They want the Uttar Pradesh chief minister to act against state minister Thakur Jaiveer Singh who is accused of murdering two persons - one of them a junior engineer in the minor irrigation department.

"They murdered my father for refusing to indulge in illegal activity," said Sunita.

There were also other serious complaints against Jaiveer Singh who looks after Rural Engineering Services. Two other women, one of them a BSP leader, complained their husbands were abducted by him and his accomplices.

"Jaiveer Thakur abducted my husband," said Chandravati.

All three women – Suman, Sunita and Chandrawati were arrested for breaking the chief minister’s security cordon. But the whole issue is set to blow up with the Opposition waiting to raise it in the House.

"We will raise this issue in the House against the unfair treatment meted out to the poor," said Zamirullah, MLA.

Mayawati was visibly embarrassed by the latest set of charges against another member of her team.

She has now asked another senior minister to probe the charges against Jaiveer Singh.
