Hyderabad: TRS president K Chandrasekhar Rao would be holding a three-day meeting with party MLAs and other leaders later in August to chalk out a strategy on the Telangana issue.
Rao would organise a joint meeting of party's polit bureau, MLAs, district unit presidents and other party functionaries on August 24, 25 and 26, the party said in a release in Hyderabad on Wednesday.
The TRS chief has been maintaining that he was assured by the "Central leaders in Delhi" on formation of Telangana once the Vice-Presidential election (which was held on August 7) is over.

Rao would organise a joint meeting of party\'s polit bureau, MLAs, district unit presidents and other party functionaries.
"If they give Telangana, fine. Otherwise, we will fight the war. There is no debate in this," Rao told a gathering on Tuesday.
The former Union Minister also indicated on Tuesday that his party would wait for another four or five days before launching the statehood agitation in a big way.
