Mumbai: The music for the forthcoming film Golmaal was released on Saturday, and while the name of the film might be the same as the old classic comedy Golmaal, the music has nothing in common.
From the music of R D Burman to the music of Vishal Shekhar, the theme remains the same- Golmaal.
The album has a few foot tapping and catchy numbers and the filmmakers claim that one wouldn't stop singing one of those too soon.
Here’s what some of the celebs had to say about the music at it’s launch:
“Golmaal hai bhai sab golmaal hai, that was a nice song. But you cannot compare it because, if you compose such a song now, then people won't like it,” says actress Rimmi Sen.
“Except the name, there is nothing similar in the two movies. The only similar thing I would want is that the old Golmaal did very well, people liked the film, so I hope they like this film too,” says actor Ajay Devgan.
“Golmaal, golmaal, everything is gonna be golmaal, now that is great promotion,” says actor Tusshar Kapoor.
“I don't think there is any comparison between Hrishikesh Mukherji, R D Burman and us, so there is no competition,” says director of the new Golmaal, Rohit Shetty.
