Mumbai: It’s a film with a very strange title - Manorama Six Feet Under, and it comes with a stranger tagline.
However, it was odd to find actress Sarika, who plays the title role in the film missing its music launch. But co-stars Abhay Deol, Raima Sen and Gul Panag filled in for her.
When asked what exactly is the film all about, everyone had a different thing to say.
“The title is ‘six feet under’ which means that someone is dead. Manorama is the name of a lady which means then that Manorama is dead,” said Abhay Deol.
The director of the film, Navdeep Singh said, "Manorama has references from different noir films, like Chinatown."
"Its a fast paced thriller with very good characters and performances,” added Raima Sen.
Actress Gul Panag, who plays Nimmi in the film, said, “Manorma has its own light moments. You will sometimes hold your stomach and start laughing."
So if that leaves you feeling a bit confused, you will just have to wait for it to release on September 21 to solve the mystery. Till then you can listen to the music of the film composed by Jayesh Gandhi and Raymond Mirza.
