New Delhi: There is some bad news for all those who can't do without their daily dose of television soaps.
They need to brace themselves for re-runs, stale episodes and even blackouts on popular general entertainment channels like Zee, Sahara, Star Plus, NDTV Imagine, 9X and Colors because the Federation of Western Cine Employees (FWICE) and the channels have come face to face yet again.
FWICE is on a strike demanding higher wages, better work conditions and more breaks between shoots which will mostly impact television serials.
Some of the channels have already decided to begin repeat telecasts from November 10. The move is already causing panic among advertisers and media-buying companies.
The workers association had earlier struck work on October 1 for similar reason.
