New Delhi: TV18 has bagged six trophies at the prestigious Ramnath Goenka Awards for excellence in Journalism, with three of them for CNN-IBN. It was a proud evening for Network18 at the sixth Ramnath Goenka Awards for excellence in journalism, an award that recognises standout performances in print and television journalism.
CNN-IBN's Smriti Advani and Priyanka Dube won the award for sports journalism, for their magnificent series on the 'Golden Girls'. Srinagar Bureau chief of CNN-IBN Mufti Islah won an award for his reporting from Jammu and Kashmir.
CNN-IBN correspondent Rupashree Nanda won an award for her special series 'Uncovering India invisible', on rotting grain. Meanwhile, IBN7, CNBC TV 18 and IBN Lokmat picked up one award each.
