New Delhi: While it was always possible to email a tweet, but not directly from Twitter. Now Twitter has added a new feature that will let users to email tweets directly from the Twitter message stream itself. Twitter also announced improved Android and iPhone apps and also enhancements to Twitter search.
The new ability to email a Tweet directly from twitter.com will roll out to all Twitter users in a few weeks. The 'share this tweet via email' feature will enable users to share tweets with "another group, like your college roommates or your parents or a friend who isn’t yet on Twitter," said Stefan Filip, an engineer with Twitter's Growth Team in a post on the official Twitter blog. "That's why we're introducing the ability to email a Tweet directly from twitter.com," he added.
To access the email feature users will have to click on the 'More' icon next to the reply, retweet and favorite buttons and can add also add their own comment.
